Wives of farmers is one of the saddest songs I've ever heard. Liberals wouldn't understand

He co-founded the band with JL when they were 15. Their new album came out recently and they were touring again. You guys keep acting tough though, I hear the girls love that!
>>72560841
This sucks since the band just got together and were touring for their new album.
"The Go In The Go-For-It" and "The Group Who Couldn't Say" are perfect 10/10 pop songs for me.

Wow, what happened? Didn't they just reform and started touring again? Grandaddy is a great band.
>>72560841
That fucking sucks, I remember hearing He's Simple He's Dumb He's The Pilot on a Q compilation cd when I was like 10 and it blew me away. Came close to booking tickets to see them a few weeks back, absolutely gutted I didn't now.
Also to the people posting dumb shit, give them a listen they're a great band.
>>72560841
Rest in Peace, man. Thank you for helping form and being a part of one my favorite bands.

I was meant to go to the Manchester show and decided against it at the last minute. Gutted. Such a great band and a bunch of really nice guys. RIP

You know believe it or not I wasn't born when a gay guy spilled a frappucino on a copy of the new york times.
I grew up in rural southern Arkansas and moved to Missouri in my twenties. My friends growing up who had more money than me were the children of farmers. They got new cars every three years that they got tax deductions on by claiming them as an expense of the family business.
And that song's a whispy pile of daisies and whispered hipsterisms. Listen to real fucking country if you're going to flaunt your cultural authenticity in my face.
>>72565713
you sound upset
>>72565725
Okay dude fuck it you wanna be real down home and not smug and anti-intellectual, we're gonna' get real fucking country up in here.
This is a nostalgic track for me. "Neon Moon" by Brooks and Dunn. I still do it at karaoke sometimes.
Let's chill out to the unpretentious, not-smug-at-all music of our simple, salt-of-the-earth people together.

Yeah man, Brooks and Dunn. They'd never make you feel inferior at a bar. They'd never wear a cool shirt and have a girlfriend. This is *real* shit--*real* America.
I must've heard this song so many times.
