loved the singles from it. still has that distinct jamiroquai sound but especially with the track automaton, sounded like they were trying a few new things. and the first half of the album is great, not too keen on the 2nd half but hoping that changes with a few more listens

blackfield sounds kinda interesting (just reading about it), might give it a crack

As I recall Blackfield has the distinction of being the very first album available for this year since it was supposed to come out in November apparently they just went ahead and leaked it to YouTube in early December although it looks like that one got taken down. Still haven't rated it.

was gonna call you a dumb poptimist before i saw your name. i'm super disappointed with that charli album. i had high hopes but it's mostly pretty bad with the exception of dreamer which is probably pop song of the year
