There is no best but my top 3 are Liquid Swords or People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm and 2001. Theyre not my favorite but I acknowledge their importance in hip hop.

It's powerful stuff, but I also find myself simply impressed at the fact he wrote so many of his songs at a young age (well, he died at 28, which is still young unfortunately).

Why does /mu/ never talk about this album, or Bone Thugs in general?

They have some of the greatest flows of all time, excellent rhyme schemes and storytelling skills, and they probably have some of the most emotional and melodic rap songs of all time. And this album is the best example of their work ethic.
