Is it worth it? Pricey, but I like the idea of a VST with a wide range of sounds, from guitars and strings to synths etc, useful for someone who wants to make music that isn't just dance/electronic
Anything else like this if not worth it? Preferably something easy on the CPU

There's a native instruments one like this but I'm not into making music anymore

Thanks, i'll give it a look

I really a company was selling something that was a rompler for a dollar, you could also try the korg m1 vst. It comes with a bunch of sounds it's cheap and you can look at tutorials to program other stuff or just play around with it. Another one is nexus but that shit is a waste of money

Yes, I paid the full price for it and I've definitely gotten my money's worth. If you're into synthesis and you're not just surfing for presets, it's by far the best softsynth I've seen.
It does have some downsides though, the sample and preset libraries are huge but a lot of it is filler. It can also get very CPU heavy once you get heavy into modulation depending on how detailed your patch is. Also, I'm not sure if you can torrent it because it comes on like 8 disks, but I'm not sure about that.

why did you quit?

Using it as one of my main synths for scoring a movie and I vouch for it. It's great. But torrent man.

That was Xpand! which comes with pro tools. It's kinda shitty though, bad gui and no comparison to omnisphere

I felt uninspired and never thought I was any good, i was trying to bridge multiple genres , but one day I just got sick of it all. I I've used so many programs , spent countless hours watching tutorials online and teaching myself for each one . I just like listening to it .

Yeah that's the one. The korg legacy collection blows it out of the water by a large margin
