I really a company was selling something that was a rompler for a dollar, you could also try the korg m1 vst. It comes with a bunch of sounds it's cheap and you can look at tutorials to program other stuff or just play around with it. Another one is nexus but that shit is a waste of money

Yes, I paid the full price for it and I've definitely gotten my money's worth. If you're into synthesis and you're not just surfing for presets, it's by far the best softsynth I've seen.

It does have some downsides though, the sample and preset libraries are huge but a lot of it is filler. It can also get very CPU heavy once you get heavy into modulation depending on how detailed your patch is. Also, I'm not sure if you can torrent it because it comes on like 8 disks, but I'm not sure about that.

That was Xpand! which comes with pro tools. It's kinda shitty though, bad gui and no comparison to omnisphere
