It's not though, it's boring, amatuerish rapping a best, too many songs that are basically exactly the same, only gets interesting in the last 3rd, pretentious and uninformed, weak beats, no replay value.

And his fans didn't like it much either he sold less with this than his last project first week by like 10k.

By kendricks second real project he was making maad cities, joey peaked with 1999.

i disagree, i think the beats are the best they have been for a joey project and he's gots some of the most engaging flows on here too.
sales are important but that almost always comes down to marketting. Drake's More Life got more plays but is definitely not as polished as this or DAMN.
