Fair, thx for the chart there are a couple I haven't listened to. Despite a lot of searching and trying I haven't found anything I like more than Joy Division or The Sound but I will keep trying
Post-punk is one of my favorite genres, can't get enough of it.

Think about it
>>72536866
yes, btw this is their better album
>>72538179
Lol there's a reason it's called POST-hardcore
>>72539245
The other albums have post-hardcore songs but not this one. Ian was obsessed with Wire
>>72539298
I mean I'd call it a proto-ska punk release before post-punk, but I can hear where you're coming from, especially in the production
Didn't know that about Ian tho, it's so hard to decode who he actually considered inspirations lol
>>72539298
if anything, End Hits is probably their most post-punky album.
>>72539353
Did you not know about the Minor Threat cover of 12xu? Anyways nevermind they just saved their own asses by a couple years actually because I forgot about the First Demo which has Merchandise among possibly others. This first album may arguably not contain any post-hardcore songs but that really doesn't mean anything in light of the demo which was heavily circulated not to mention their live sets. So much for my theory.
