Finally upgrading amps from one that doesn't work to a slightly less shitty one. Looking in the 300 buck range, and looking for something I can use for shoegaze/noise pop and takes pedals well. A used JC 120 or Commander II, are good amps that can be found at that price. Problem with guitars is that you really can't find ANYTHING good at the 300 dollar mark. Unless it's a used Epi, or something like that. but you're going to have to change the pickups, and that 300, becomes 500.

The only reason guitar got so popular was because it's a comparatively cheap instrument to pick up and literally any retard can play it. Piano requires discipline and actual musical knowledge outside of patterns and shapes. Brass instruments require constant practice, and you'll forever be limited by the strength of your lungs and lips. Drum kits take extreme coordination as well as several different techniques to be anything other than mediocre, and the timing required is something a lot of people can't grasp well.

Not trying to put guitarists down, but that's why guitar is dying out. Making music with computers is even easier than guitar, and cheaper.
