Popcaan is probably the most "normie" artist they got in the entire album. His public profile is fairly notable after he collaborated with Jamie xx and Drake. The song also has a really distinct vocal melody in the verses/choruses.

is quoted so much around here, even if as a joke? Bad, cheesy, good or not, shit sticks out. Not too surprising they went with this as the lead single. Momentz is too abstract of a banger and while I think She's My Collar would be a close second option since the groove has hints of Feel Good Inc. in it, usually Gorillaz's most "popular" tracks tend to be the ones with a notable feature anchoring it, not ones where Damon is front and center.
