Why is so much of his music about suicide?

Never really interpreted his music like that, but on second thought, Runway Houses Cities Clouds could definitely be taken as a suicide song
>but am I the one who's left behind?
spoopy

Seconding this.

Who fucking cares.
Tame Impala's music is so boring that it's meaningless.

Desire Be Desire Go, Let it Happen, and The Moment seem to me to be about suicide.
>Death is real
>>72499444
Desire be Desire Go is about the thought of suicide coming and going.
Let it happen is explicitly about suicide. The refrain is pretty clear, I feel.
The moment isn't as in-your-face but, "In the end it's stronger than I know how to be. And I can't spend my whole life wondering.", "storm clouds are closing." "anticipation growing." "I'll only know in the moment. It's getting closer." I thought he was talking about impending suicide that may or may not happen.

It's all about interpretation. I was just listening to him one day and realized >>72499512

From "Let It Happen":
"It's always around me, all this noise, but
Not really as loud as the voice saying
"Let it happen, let it happen (It's gonna feel so good)
Just let it happen, let it happen"
