i like ghost alright but something about the phrase 'scooby doo chase music' makes it one of my fav band-specific memes ever. makes me giggle like a mad cunt every time

I don't get this band. When I first saw them I thought they'd be some doomy extreme metal, but they're not. I like black metal, deathrock, gothy music, and even campy bands like The Cramps and Misfits. They aren't any of that. It just sounds like really tepid, bland pop-metal to me.

You have to see them live to fully get them imo. Seen them three times over the years, the first time being in my top 5 gig experiences. Very theatric. Also the vinyl of this album sounds great, especially that opening bassline in con clavi.
