Communism is (by death count) objectively worse than Nazism and is a nonsensical ideology in most ways, but the Soviets did have the best anthem. Seriously, how can one not love this song?

As far as ideologies go, Communism is definitely one of those that have been thought through the most. Political economy is an actual thing, social stratification too.

And the death count for the Soviet Union is reduced drastically if you don't buy into the 'state approved famine' theory immediately. Even if you accept it as true, it shows that these deaths are qualitatively different from the Jews/Roma/Political Opponents killed by the NS state.
Also there was an actual civil war when they set up their state, let's not forget that.
