I payed 70 for a bootleg of Toy by David Bowie
>>72477787
i own the government plates and the exmilitary vinyl
i haven't even opened them though. i plan on selling them in like 10 years when death grips becomes the most famous meme to ever get a platinum album
>>72477787
I paid ~€200 for an African highlife LP
Most I've ever paid for a general release? €550 for Acid Mothers Temple debut cassette, limited to 10 copies...
>>72477937

I paid $14 for an original canadian pressing of Saucerful of Secrets
My gf bought me Loaded by TVU new and it probably cost her like $25 so that's the "most expensive" one I own
>>72477991
If you have to ask then the answer is probably no. Some obscure Italian disco LP that /pol/ worships? That's rare. I'm sure they made at least 1000 of those deathgrips albums though. There's almost always one for sale online.
>>72478185
How much does that go for normally?
I paid $33 for the 2015 French bootleg of Exmilitary. Might buy cLOUDDEAD for $45 here pretty soon.
>>72478228
on discogs it averages $50+
400 dollars for a Eccojams cassette.
I paid $18.00 in 1980 for this album new at "The Upper Ear" in Las Vegas which be equivalent to paying about .$53.00 today. So that is the most I ever paid for a non-boxed set album.
>>72478258
>Hole cut out in art
Is that album a popup book?
>>72477787
related question, what's the least you've ever paid for one? Besides free of course?
Pic related, $1 (CAD) apiece from a church yard sale yesterday. But I think I got a Joan Baez single in a thrift store for something like 25 cents once.
>>72478283
No. Not a popup book. Its just the inner album photo art.
>>72478285
>pee records

$45 for Mount Eerie - Dawn. It was for sale in my area and I had to get it since it was out of print. Also one of my favorite records.

>>72477787

$175 original Jack Scott LP.....funny thing was, few years later I found a 2nd copy at Salvation Army...haha....Ha

A single record? About $70 for an original pressing of Aphrodite's Child's 666. It was retailing for $100 but I got it lower than that between a gift card and catching a storewide discount by chance that day.
praise kek
>>72480135
i guarantee none of those people have been to /pol/
>>72478258
I've got that album, I bought it for $1 at a thrift shop. Did for the meme cover, only listened to it once.
$88 for a mid-70s French copy of Tago Mago. Probably about market value at the time, no regrets. It's pretty much mint.
$1,000
Fishmans Rock festival
PEPE himself loves /pol/ and made us a special music video

Around $175 for the Gas boxset
>>72483237
That set looks doooppe.
I think I paid like $50-60 for Autechre -Exai, thats probably the most I've ever dropped.
Probably $60 for the original UK pressing of The Mollusk. Worth it
>>72477937
Careful though, staying sealed for too long might warp the records
About 100 euros for a mint Verve - Voyager One
>>72483467
wat?
>>72483237
>tfw I want it but never listened to Gas before
>>72477787
70 for the preorder yellow version of Bottomless pit along with the ive from death valley cassette which is pretty rare. My cassette sounded really weird too like its the songs are being played backwards with distortion affects on it but you can still make out words . Turns out its a defective copy and I was gonna try and return it but then I just thought fuck it, I guess it makes it rarer.
>>72483467
careful using computers, they make your testicles explode
>>72483425
>Exai
I'd easily pay $50 for that set, really solid
>>72483545
It's a really solid set especially considering how much they individually have gone for. I will say the art book is a bit dissapointing though.
>>72480459
you shouldn't treat it like some badge of honor
>>72477937
i would cash out right about now
i wouldnt be so sure the novelty of DG has longevity like that
Bought the lil ugly mane boxset for $175. Oblivion access sucked though so it was kind of a disappointment
got this for $30 kangaroo dollars from some kid
>>72480459
/pol/ hates these kinds of people
>>72480459
You can't exactly guarantee that can you
$80 for Rain Dogs
>>72477787
paid £60 for an original pressing Trout Mask Replica
>>72477787
I payed $60 for a signed copy of Emotion Side B
I spent 75 bucks on coltrane- offering: live at temple university. Pretty limited run i think and it came with all sorts of extra shit, and pressing and packaging is of fantastic quality.
Like 120 for Nice to Meet You Everyone by Midori
Like 100 for Agorapocalypse by Agoraphobic Nosebleed
Think like 80 for Black One by Sunn
Like 80 for Explosions in Ward 6 and a pic disc of Prowler respectively
I know there are more pricier ones but I can't remember, hopefully they appreciate instead of becoming worthless when the vinyl bubble eventually pops.
>>72481223
pic?
>>72481542
No more retarded than buying stocks.
Paid like $60 for an original pressing of Radio City by Big Star. It's in good shape too.
tfw I'm too paranoid to buy really rare/expensive albums because I'm paranoid I may end up scratching them somehow
Lowkey wanna cop this Algernon Cadwallader album for $60 but that feel is strong.
>>72484211
shame about the samples
£15 for a like new Factory reissue(diecut with black innersleeve) pressing of Blue Monday FAC-73A3/B3
I could have got it for cheaper If I had went on discogs but looking for records is half the fun desu(I think I have some sorf of inherited autism from relatives who were antiques dealers)
>>72477787
Never bought a vinyl since I have no player
But I paid $30 for a rare funk CD I imported from Germany (I live in the US) once.

>~$30 + shipping
Either the limited version of The Wild Hunt by Watain ($50) which is a great little special edition, or the signed deluxe version of Pale Horses by mewithoutYou, also a fantastic collection of material, I think it was $60.
>>72485665
Probably a different press my dude
paid like 40 dollars once for a live velvet underground record
About $150 for the fancy 2CD edition of Quaristice.
>>72483237
I have Nah Und Fern but I'm tempted to get that just because of the discs for Konigsforst and Oktember
The most I've spent (((yet))) was 90 something dollars for an OG issue of In Utero on clear vinyl in VG+ condition
>>72477991
the self-released one is
