I honestly don't get it. I don't think their music is bad, but I think it's pub background music/gym music tier (which is fitting as that's where I most often hear it). I really don't understand why they are hailed as geniuses, why Random Access Memories is described as one of the best albums of all time etc.

I still haven't heard most of RAM but Homework was some of the best house out there at the time and Discovery some of the best electronic music. What little I've heard of RAM was underwhelming.

Like em'. Discovery is one of the best electronic albums and RAM is consistently good. Their older stuff is a little bit too raw and repetitive for me.

RAM easily overrated. Personally, think it's pretty average.
that being said, Homework is a house standard and Discovery did some pretty big things in terms of making electronic popular among the masses
