This sounds amazing but it's so fucking boring
It's literally CR-78 drums and Garageband preset synths

Thats offensive to garageband.
Well, anon I would have to disagree. It's definitely got that gorillaz vibe but all the songs are different in themselves its like a "gorillaz play list" so its different than the last albums because they had a theme. Any ways it's meant to be different :)

My brother is listening in his room, I haven't heard anything good yet. Too much dance crap and ugly synths.
Their last two albums were also shit, so I wasn't expecting anything good.

what
>>72467386
An album can sound great but its music can still be bad. Sort of like how a film can look great but yet still have a drab plot.
>>72467677
Who the fuck listens to music for the plot? What the fuck am I reading? If it sounds good than shouldn't that mean its good? What kind of mental gymnastics are you performing here?

trying to hard/10

I get what OP means, or sorta.
There's plenty of music for me that sounds great... in the background. But when you go and pay attention to it, it gets boring pretty fast.

I think you're confused. By sounding good I'm meaning the production/engineering/mixing side. I guess I also mean what this anon >>72468427 said. The musical content does sound good to...but it feels dull and uninspired.
