You know the drill , you have to prove that you are listening to it (post screenshot, last.fm) and thoughts on it after you finished it, Because just posting without discussion is ass. No /mu/core or albums that last forever, keep it under 5 hours at least. If you are going to post in here and not give feedback or you don't like the genre you got then fuck off. Don't fucking just drop and image because the reverse image search doesn't work all the time , if you can drop a YouTube link even better.
just ignore off-topic posts.

Pretty cool, I like the atmosphere. I love the rustic analogue instruments over the crunchy beats. It's definitely well-produced. The "futuristic bluegrass" vibe gets kinda boring+repetitive by the end tho famalam, in my personal opinion. Needs some more variation or progression or synths or something. But I'm still glad I listened. I'd rate this a solid 7/10. I was vibin to the last song.

Alright so I'm done the album. It's pretty good. The first five or six songs are fantastic, Summer Connection especially. The vocals are nice, not too high-pitched and annoying. I like the soft tracks right after track 5 (I think it was), but after that I feel like the album kind of drags until song 10, where it picks back up with that reprise and then some softer songs right at the end. Favorite songs are the first three, as I like the beat and cheerfulness.
All in all, pretty good. Middle's eh, but still good. I'd say maybe 7-8/10. I'm not good at reviewing so you can shit on this review if you want
>>72483214
Gonne be honest, not really digging it so far. It's interesting, and it's far from awful, but I'm not sure if I like the production and his voice kinda irks me. I thought a few of the beats were cool though. I'll report back with a score after I finish it.

You do realize that just because something is "different" from the status quo doesn't mean that it's good, right? Sometimes experimenting doesn't pay off. In this case, it sucks, especially compared to other alternative rap.

That's where you're wrong tho
onedeff delivers every verse with the most insane rhyme schemes, but never sacrifices substance or emotion for them. I truly believe now that Tonedeff can go toe-to-toe with any rapper dead or alive. His skill is completely unparalleled, and now he's made the album that he's been shaping up to make his entire career. I said that "Control" was a SOTY contender before, but now I know that it's not a contender. It's easily the best song this year (a pretty great year I might add) and without a doubt one of the greatest hip-hop songs I have ever heard in my life.
>>72486161
Whatever man. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I can see that you really like him, which is totally cool, but just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they have "shit taste." I'm not doubting his abilities as a lyricist and his flows were technically impressive, but I didn't think the "whole package" was that impressive, artistically speaking. The beats were mostly uninteresting and did not pair well with his cadence and subject matter. There is a lot more to rap music than complex rhyme schemes.
