I need help finding new albums.
I used to find new music so easily but the past few months the only thing I've downloaded to my phone is new releases of artists I already like.
I'm sick of everything in my phone, it's my personal favorite music but I've listened to it all way too many times. I feel like I've listened to everything I could ever like in hip hop. Then I listen to some electronic/experimental/vaporwave type stuff and I feel like I could explore those genres more. The rest of my music is nostalgia shit like Metallica, Floyd, Blink-182, etc
I've avoided a lot of /mu/core but now I'm getting tempted

Dream Theater isn't really my cup of tea, I guess I'm kinda picky when it comes to metal these days
Savage Messiah - The Fateful Dark
Try to get a compilation for any of these artists
Bill Monroe
Jimmie Rodgers
Bix Beiderbecke
Jelly Roll Morton
Louis Jordan
Skip James
Robert Johnson

Try using it for the genre by year charts
just cave and listen to /mu/core, its a good stepping stone and there is a reason those albums are so commonly discussed (they're good). also its not like you have some sort of superior listening taste for avoiding /mu/core if the reason you're avoiding those albums is some sort of elitist thing

thanks, also I've listened to Blackstar after Bowie died. Do you know what albums out of his discography I should listen to besides Ziggy?
