Apple Earbuds are actually quite good, and this is coming from a richfag audiophile who has a Hi-Fi 11.2 surround setup for my 4K OLED-based home cinema/game room, a Hi-Fi 6.1 surround setup for my BVM CRT-based home cinema/game room and buys music on both the highest quality physical and digital formats alongside the iTunes/Apple Music format for the sake of portability.

One of the best Hi-Fi albums I have for testing the raw power is the soundtrack of Final Fantasy XV that came with my order of the Ultimate Collector's Edition.

I don't find Spotify to be that reliable except for some instances.

But maybe that's because most of Studio Ghibli's soundtracks and Taylor Swift's discography are exclusive to iTunes/Apple Music.
And I am more biased towards Apple.

We're talking about earbuds for cellphones here, not some 7.1 surround sound gaming headsets.

Apple Earbuds actually work well for my iPhone.
But when I am gaming on my PC, watching movies or listening to music NOT on my iPhone, I use a 7.1 gaming headset or let my 11.2 home theater surround setup (or 6.1 if I am on my retro gaming CRT game room) unleash it's full force.
