It may be cheesy but fuck it, I can't help singing along. As a kid I also thought this was the coolest album cover ever.
What are your guilty pleasures?
>>72434178
No it's a great album
>>72434214
Maybe so, but I've never heard anything but derision in relation to it.
>>72434267
From whom?
Every single fucking Bon Scott AC/DC album is my guilty pleasure. Particularly Let There Be Rock, Highway to Hell, Dirty Deeds and Powerage.
>>72434178
Bat out of Hell is a great album, don't listen to the circlejerking autists on this board

These have humor to them. What's embarrassing is listening to the gross hair metal and whatnot that spawned from them.

Actually I have never seen Meat Loaf come up on /mu/, I've heard derision from well... fucking everyone else. That said, the album sold like hot cakes in the UK so I'm guessing there are a lot of closeted Meat Loaf fans in the UK who just take the piss to save face.

Plenty of people like it. There's a small sect of vocal detractors who won't shut up about how campy, melodramatic, and overproduced it is. It's like... yes, that's the point.
I know it's mostly fucking crap, but I love it.
>>72434489
It's a sort of parody on rock music cliches
I'm not guilty about liking anything I like because that's seriously some high-school level insecurity, but I guess my most "embarrassing" favorite album would be this
>>72434829
you could replace adam levine's vocals with distorted beeping and probably not be able to tell the difference
i would never tell anybody in real life i like MCR (even though this is a really good post-hardcore album i feel embarrassed just out of association)
>>72434874
Is this bait
>>72434345
He's thinking about pointing at us...

So is it safe to say Meat Loaf is /ourguy/?
