I like what he does but as always with Filthy Frank, atrocious recording/mixing. Too bad.

maybe, but maybe not. while he is super popular, he's super offensive, so advertisers tend to avoid him. Most of his equipment he has to pay for himself. He is signed to a label now, so hopefully they can support him some way

I wish he would integrate his two styles into one coherent idea. It would be much better than either one in isolation.

It sounds like a no-name soundcloud producer honestly. If anyone besides joji put this out, no one would care.

Besides that, it feel like it's going backwards instead of making something new. The piano and percussion could be from any number of """lofi hiphop""" songs and the distorted, atmospheric vocals have been done to death by Shlohmo.

Agreed, Unsaved Info is the best track Joji's released. Plastic Taste is a close second.
