This is now a thread where we debate what the best pink floyd album is. Mine is pic related. Every song is fantastic and i can listen to the whole thing through a million times

this will always be mine

Time is the official anthem of /r9k/
>>72415770
Fucking Echoes mang. Probably their best track
>>72415786
A fantastic choice but I think they were still finding their footing with saucer
>>72415851
Dude have you listened to the Live at Pompeii version?
My favorite album of all time is pic related
I unironically think DSOTM is their worst popular album.
I also don't get echoes. I've tried 4-5 times and when it first finishes I just don't understand the appeal.
My favorite is either final cut or obscured by clouds.

Ignore the word "first".
>when you've intentionally never bought or listened to a few of their pre DSOTM albums just to keep myself from burning out on Floyd.
I think my favorite has to be Animals, especially the earlier versions of Dogs(you've gotta be crazy) and Sheep(Raving and Drooling)

>You Gotta Be Crazy
Patrician Pink Floyd taste. It's my go-to for a lonely late drive.

Thanks for the link; I've only ever listened to the Wish You Were Here Experience edition version.
Still Can't believe there's all this stuff that exists but you can only find it if you know exactly what you are looking for.
I've been trying super hard to find a good live recording of an Animals tour for the longest time.
Why doesn't anyone talk about the Cre/Ation double album? It's so underrated.
>>72415770
even the dog? idk about that one
>>72414931
kek they say they like it because its on shirts at H&M, but I'd bet my balls that they never fully listened to it once
>>72415770
agreed
Meddle and Wish You Were Here are my favs

Echoes

"Pink Floyd.. does that sound like Parkway Drive?"
I'm sure someone somewhere asked that once

This is my favorite live version of Sheep. It's got a nice bit of afterglow from Rick after the orgasmic guitar at the end. Check out Animal Instincts, the bootleg it's part of, for a live Animals tour recording.
