Is there a scale with the chords F# Major and A Major?
It will be model, one moment
A Mixolydian does, but I'm sure there are others.
Edit, I lied not mixolydian but just lydian.
I lied again. No standard scale will have both. But if it sounds good use it. Sorry it's every early in the morning and I just finished a paper.

You're still fucking wrong dude, lol
There is no scale that accomodates these chords, but there's plenty of non-diatonic harmony that works.

Thank you, guys!
I'll try to just run with it by ear!

No but F#7 is a common secondary dominant (of the ii) in A major so not that much of a stretch to just omit the 7.
F# double harmonic

You could play an F#m chord on top of an A chord or just an F# below an A chord and call it an F#m7, then use that to resolve to an F
It's so strange because it's such a recognizable progression but it isn't diatonic
B (harmonic) minor. A major will be chord VII, F# major will be the dominant chord with the normal practice of raising the third.
