ITT: Post albums that clicked on the first listen
Formative for me. Discovered /mu/ a couple years later
The only record I've ever properly loved on a first playthrough
Unpopular opinion: if an album didn't click on the first listen, then you simply didn't like it. If not you're probably just forcing yourself to like it so you can shitpost it and gain approval here. Not to say that you can't like an album more after more listens, of course.

At first listen you may not like it, but I don't think it's tryhard to give it another shot later. For lack of a better way to put it, many times in my music listening career it would appear that I simply "wasn't ready" to hear a particular sound. This was the case with Can, for example. Continuing to take in similar sounds and gradually acclimating is a good way to access something different.

Unpopular opinion: anyone who says this is probably really unadventurous and has bland mucore tastes
