Good afternoon. Where do you go for reviews of recordings? Related, how do you pick recordings to buy/download/whatever if you don't use reviews? I use classicstoday for reviews and spotify otherwise

Their arguments always seem too flimsy to me.

to be fair, their outlet is pretty bad for in-depth reviews. musicweb can go more that angle, sometimes, but they also have the issue of needing to be too concise.

regardless, Hurwitz is really the only interesting reviewer on classicstoday, and he's more of an entertainer than a review I would go for an opinion.
