This one is hard. Phil (the guy behind Mount Eerie) lost his wife to cancer last year. It's an incredibly sad and personal album about death. I feel weird listening to it, like it wasn't meant to be shared. Him and his wife used to sing together on their older albums, I still try not to listen to this one.

I think the main reason for that is because he put so much effort behind the Glow pt. 2. It seems like The Microphones' entire discography before TGP2's release was just a big rough draft for the album, along with some other stuff.
