This is my favourite soundtrack of all time. Tomas Dvorak is a true musical genius. When the piano part comes in in 'The Elevator' is one of the most beautiful musical moments I have ever experienced. The tracks which exemplify the atmosphere I love are the following:

The OST for Ape Escape is just so weird, unique, and also very japanese. I've never heard anything quite like it. It's up on Spotify. My favorite tracks from it are:

I've always had a huge soft spot for the kingdom hearts 2 ost, in particular the space paranoid tracks. The Grim Fandango soundtrack is very high on my list as well.
And speaking of Dvorak have you heard the soundtrack for Samorost 3? I personally think its brilliant
