The rawness of Big Black is far superior. Shellac is more calculated, but that might be the problem with it. Big Black's tone was way better, ear rape guitar that makes me cream.

Everyone knows Rapeman was the high point of Albini's career. The intensity of Big Black with the full band sound of Shellac.

Shellac are great but they're too precise and calculated. It's great for what they do, but the raw spontaneity of Rapeman is superior.
