He's really going full Sun Kil Moon here. I like this direction.
>>72342175
t. emotionless sociopath
>>72342324
That sounds pretty sad.
>>72342143
I only listened to the first three songs. I felt weird listening and didn't want to continue. I really like mount eerie's other stuff too.
>>72342209

>>72342281

My dog died the day this album came out, I listened to it twice in a row crying in bed. RIP Kailey you were the best pupper a boy could ask for
>>72342143
It's funny, the first time I listened to Real Death I had tears streaming down my face, but now all I can think about when I listen to it is Phil's grating, nasal "DEATH IS REEEAAAAL"
>I strangled my wife and buried her under a tree
>I turned my head and a crow looked at me
Yeah very sad and emotional
>slapped my wife's butt
>watched how it rippled in slow motion
>reminded me of the waves of the ocean
>>72342143
yes
>>72343333
Nice quadruplets
>>72342143
>a nu-male looked at me
>don had cancer and died
>>72342329
more like emotionless autist am I right?
>>72342143
Why would I cry to poorly executed indie folk
>>72342888
maybe it died because you wined and dined it too much
>>72342143
Not until I saw it live
>>72342888
calling you dog "pupper"
death was the 1st time your dog was actually happy, it seems
>>72342143
It's depressing but I didn't cry over it.
It didn't make me cry, but it did make me physically and mentally feel like i was about to. It put me in a state of "everybody leave me the fuck alone right now".
>>72343909
this is a good way of putting it.
i did eventually cry but it was because i was starting to second-hand feel some of his pain.
i had a couple (very) near-death experiences though, and i think it's underrated how very real he translates the dying process before and after someone is gone. i felt kind of like ebenezer scrooge thinking of what it would be like to my loved ones if i had been gone.
>>72343909
This pretty much.
>>72343333
This post deserves another reply
>>72342888
rest tight pupper
>>72342143
doesnt have any replay value so it sucked
i didn't feel anything. what's wrong with me /mu/?
>>72344265
This isn't an album you listen to multiple times. I saw it described like "Schindler's List", something that you only want to listen to once.
>>72342839
>phil elverum was in wolves in the throne room
What?
