>>72331298
nah, is for create a mood. Same as this entire album.
>>72331912
ups, wrong pic!
>>72331298
Yes. The usage of quiet/loud dynamics of this album is phenomenal.
I remember when my ipod broke I started buying CD's and I've randomly stumbled across Larks without knowing what to expect. I went into this album without ever listening to prog and it really opened a new horizon for me.
>>72331969
Larks is slightly better dude.
>>72332649
I agree, its a fantastic album. I just wasn't sure if that was intentional by the band or i just had a shitty file. I think ITCOTCK is their best but this may take its place after a few more listens.

Heaven-sent
>>72331298
The only part that seems quiet to me is the cymbals at the beginning of Exiles. Almost like it wasnt mixed properly, but I don't know how KC would let that happen.
>>72332649
Every album is its own thing imo, there is no KC ambum that I dont like, even pic related.
>>72332720
ITCOTCK is the better album in many ways, it's more cohesive and has better "flow", also Larks drags a bit at times but the first and the last tracks are amazing.
For me it goes: Court > Larks > Red > Discipline > Lizard > etc.
>>72332830
I think the first half of the talking drum is way too quiet as well
>>72332846
This has KC's worst song on it, though
>>72332898
I'm sure that's the point.
But iirc the violin comes in a little quiet too.
Remaster when?
