Maybe it depends on the type of genre they associate themselves in. I find myself listening to mostly black metal and I weigh only 115 lbs.

Bad stereotype. I see mostly lanky guys and downright meatheads when i go to black metal shows. There's always the one or two morbidly obese guys wearing a Marduk or Dimmu Borgir shirt though
