How do you digitize your LPs?
Phonojack or USB cable?
I use the USB cable and Audacity.

I don't usually, I pirate CD rips cause I want something that doesn't have surface noise. However, if a CD release doesn't exist I'll use the line out to my computer and use Audacity.
I use USB because my laptop doesn't have a line input, only microphone, and if you plug into that, the sound will come out in mono from the right channel.
I download the mp3s from the download card that comes with most records nowadays.

>download card only offers one-time download and 256k mp3 or inferior
>Try to change cartridge
>Basically breaking your toe-arm
I prefer CDs as a source, but for older/rarer recordings I use the USB out and Audition

CDs don't seem to last as long as vinyl records in my experience, always getting scratched up and stuff. Plus the art is small... etc

For digitizing I only need to have it play once. And with cdparanoia scratches can be somewhat fixed.

With CDs you just rip and forget

>implying the usb function on a record player is anything above 256k
