neither of them are that great but i guess?
everyone is better than the beatles

the album is cool in concept, and sometimes the dissonance is actually enjoyable, but overall the album is actually trash

well, i don't like the beatles but i like the shaggs
Damn right The Shaggs were better than The Beatles!
Could The Beatles write a song like My Pal Foot Foot or Who Are Parents?
No! No they could not!
>>72297523
well, i'm kinda numb to Beatles music...I still burst out laughing at the shaggs...so maybe so.
unlistenable in a completely different and more annoying way than TMR

Who cares about The Beatles when there's this?

The story of the shaggs is the only reason the music is interesting to me. If the fucked up story wasn't behind it, it'd be worthless.

really, it wouldn't be more intriguing to have this fucked ip lp floating around & nobody knowing what the hell is going on
>By all accounts, the Wiggin sisters’ voices are painful—not nails-on-a-chalkboard unlistenable, but bizarre, like hearing early Animal Collective for the first time.

i love Beat Happening
It's a tough album to listen to all the way through because of how terrible it is. The best thing about it is playing it for people who have no idea who the Shaggs are and laughing at them for not thinking it's good.
WHY, EVEN DRACULA WILL BE THERE
