The story of the shaggs is the only reason the music is interesting to me. If the fucked up story wasn't behind it, it'd be worthless.

i love Beat Happening

It's a tough album to listen to all the way through because of how terrible it is. The best thing about it is playing it for people who have no idea who the Shaggs are and laughing at them for not thinking it's good.
