should I buy an ESP Horizon?
I play mostly metal and I've been dying to get something new.
>>72288998
i don't know
>>72288998
let's see what we can do
>>72288998
I hate everything visual about that brand like it looks like shit jfc
>>72288998
What kind of metal do you play?
>>72288998
Are you new here?
There's a guitar general up all the time, try there
You should save your money.
>>72288998
No. ESPs are not worth the money.
>>72291119
probably this is right,
if someone spends $450 / $430 on a well chosen guitar (not a fender or gibson for this price ever) then added $250 of high gain pickups
they would have a better guitar most likely than a $2,559 stupid thing
. . .
install gentoo

Yeah, they are horribly overpriced. I do believe they are good guitars, but come on. I'm not paying that kind of money for a fucking guitar.
I actually have a ~$6-700 Fender Stratocaster, and that actually sounds pretty fucking good in its stock configuration.
>>72291405
I'm sure but I'd think you may have paid $200 for a fender sticker in your break down of costs
maybe not?
also, I bet some of them are forgeries, we wouldn't even know. which is pretty neat actually :)
>>72291691
we're /gg-alt/
>>72291662
It is a made in Mexico strat, so yeah, maybe.
But you know, so long as it sounds good and all that. 6-700 dollars really isn't a bad price for a good guitar where I live.
>>72290591
They lost me at the floyd rose bridge. I like the regular tunomatic on an LP
>>72291901
mmm your money means different to me so I can't quite tell.
but... as I ways saying, if you buy some of these made in china new brands, they came from the same factory as the Gibo/Fendo/what-a-caster I swear. really good build quality, different badge , bit cheaper
I think something is happening where the Marshall-esque guitar world of 1970-1990 is
coming to an end. I think these brands won't
survive this century. They're exhausted.
*warning - personal opinion*
>>72291953
heavy metal man
>>72291970
I fully agree with that, actually. The bigger brands will fade away, because as marketing and production has gotten easier, much thanks to the internet,
more and more smaller companies actually have a chance in hell at success now. And those companies usually make great products too, because they actually tend to give a flying fuck about their work.
no get a strandberg you dummy
what is the most autistic guitar?
>>72292045
>bigger brands will fade away, because as marketing and production has gotten easier, much thanks to the inte
I think it's something else. 1900's are over, it's that big a deal I think.
there he is with a fender
there he is with a fender
there he is with a fender
it doesn't make sense anymore
The artists that made the brands are culturally fading, so are a lot of other things
Odd Future indeed
>>72292107
Yeah, that's one way to put it.
"There he is with a (insert meme brand name here)" does sound a bit better.
>>72292160
new brands, new ideas, new music
>>72292183
I'd like to keep my black metal, to be honest.
>>72292213
>muh black metal
>>72292237
Yes. Muh black metal.
