Any part of rap that has to do with the meanings of the words being said are considered literary and not musical.

I suppose that's fair, but again, I don't think you're a very good rapper if the only way you can make a compelling song is to have interesting meaning of words. When I listen to rap I don't even listen to the lyrics for the first few listens.
