Found a Kenwood KD-4100R Turntable for $150 bout 50 miles away. It worth grabbing at that price?
maybe, but before you flesh out money for that check around to see if anyone is carrying a Jensen JTA-230

Looks like a good turntable for the price, but I'm not sure how highly to regard the brand or that specific model. Fifty miles is a bitch, though - see if there's anything comparable in a closer distance.

its solid, but 150 is more than I'd ever spend on used
badump
shameful bump

it is a a thousand times better than anything you will find new at that price. but you could probably find something closer for cheaper if you are not in a hurry
I have 2 turntables I bought the Pioneer PL-400 new in 1980 and it still plays perfectly. I also have a Technics SL-V5. Like most anything made today the equipment that was made during the era when Vinyl was the gold standard of audio quality is vastly superior unless you want to drop major mulla for high end current audio brands . (pic not my actual turn table )
