/mu/ was dick riding the fuck out of him during twin fantasy. Even when TOD dropped it ended up on alot of /mu/tants AOTY list. People just want to hop on the hate bandwagon to be contrarian.

That's what I assume when they do not give a solid reason . I think people like >>72270058 make solid points or when others point out that it's shitty generic rehashed indie rock the hate may be valid as I can see why people would feel that way.

Definitely one of my favorite artists of all time. Unfortunately, his last couple albums have been insanely weak. Hopefully he picks it back up, but if not I have no bad words for him; I've enjoyed more albums from him than almost any other artist, and he's written them all before he was my age.
