I use Spotify and to a lesser extent iTunes. Spotify is great for ease of use and finding new music. Plus the UI for the most part is very nice.

My parents pay for Spotify Premium and I listen to it on my Mac and phone. I live in a different country. I have zero complaints

You can always try adding people on Last.fm threads here. It was nicer before they updated the website though, because they had groups and stuff that were better for keeping up with people. I met a few people through my university's last.fm group back in the day. Real shame they got rid of that feature.

I've had Spotify premium for a year now and I really don't have any complaints. There's some classics that I wish they had that I will probably never get (This Heat, King Crimson, some other /mu/core) but it's turned me on to some really good shit. And it's cheap to have so I can't complain.

Here's a dope playlist of garage rock and other stupid stuff I made that I'm super proud of. I have a few others but they're mostly just stupid lists I listen to when I'm writing or playing games.
