Explain to me why Wire is good
I don't get it

It's just catchy, well-written punk/post-punk music with an experimental bent that becomes gradually more pronounced from Pink Flag to 154. If you've only heard Pink Flag and generally prefer a more experimental post-punk style with a greater prominence of electronics over stripped-down, straightforward punk songs you might like 154, and vice versa.
Pink Flag is my least favourite (though it's still pretty good), Chairs Missing is my favourite because I think it achieved the perfect balance between those two styles. I'm a little ashamed to admit I haven't heard anything after 154.

Most interesting punk by far. Everything else is boring ska clones or angsty suburban kids.
>>72244608
Thanks
I've been meaning to relisten to it soon so I'll bear that in mind

No reason, Colin broke up the band for a reason.
That being said, his first solo album was breddy gud
>>72244628
that's a junk opinion.
obviously check out Sex Pistols, Ramones, PiL, Pere Ubu, Joy Division, The Clash, Gang of Four, The Pop Group, early Police, Suicide, the Vibrators and Television. Many more can be named these are just the ones I know and have greatly enjoyed

Most albums after 154 are pretty bad, only A Bell Is A Cup and Send are worth listening (still only 6 maybe 7/10). You're not really missing a lot if you only listen to the first 3 desu
>>72244683
Watch out man, those are all post-punk bands with the exception of SP and the clash.
The clash are overrated as hell, I'll give you the sex pistols, anything that Lydon does is gold.
Punk is regressive and boring (although necessary for musical progression), post-punk is awesome

Again with this album the rest of the songs are whatever to me. I wish I liked Wire more lol
My favorites off of 154 are The 15th, Once Is Enough and Go Ahead.

A-Z?
I've heard that and it was alright but not Wire-tier
Is anything by Dome any good?
