incredible technical execution

He's not a musician's musician exactly,he's just some guy that's too good with a guitar.

But remember,technical execution is just one part of the equation when it comes to giving music it's soul.

That's probably my biggest complaint with Buckethead,he just likes to jerk his ego off with "insane" solo's at every turn,just like Omar Rodriguez Lopez

For every good song he makes he makes 10 unlistenable trash songs

real talk if you think Buckethead is "nothing but technical wank", listen to his album Colma, it will change your mind, and it is not wank at all, it is very tasteful and gorgeous short tracks without any over-the-top soloing. it shows a side of Buckethead that I think even most of his fans aren't aware of.
