In the last few weeks I'm not in the mood for anything. Nothing interests me anymore, I'm just playing videogames in my house whenever I'm not at work or rehearsing with my band (which is about to dissolve actually, pretty likely after this next saturday's gig), and I get mad as hell everytime I think about the system, about what I should do for my future and how, and about economical autosustent.

And it's all caused by the fact that I'm 24 and I don't know what the fuck to do with my life. I'm a mixing engineer but I can't get jobs, I'm a singer (actually a pretty good one, ego aside) and I play a few other instruments, but I can't live from that either, my work is a routine based one behind a computer, and the reason why I haven't quit yet, is because I'm saving in order to trip to Europe in hopes of getting a Working Holiday Visa (because in my country we can only go as tourists unless we get a working holiday visa, which are hard as hell to get).

do the trip to europe. I fucked around europe seeing shows and history for a bit last summer. Thankfully I had a safety net when I came back home. It's brain chemistry. Healthy people don't understand this. You can control your chemistry to some degree but there is absolutely no reason not to medicate if it can help you reach your goals.

Trust me when I say there is only so much control you actually have over your brain ... that's why it's called a disease. Normal people don't have it. Their chemistry is normal. Their mood is not in the gutter every single day because of things that they can't control. When your mood is fucked up due to your brain chemistry, you can't control it and it fucks your life up past the point of normalcy, and it snowballs.

Don't listen to people who don't have depression man. People act like they understand it ("everyone gets down!") but its one thing to be down now and then, it's ABSOLUTELY another to be thinking about suicide routinely, zero motivation, tired, no energy, irritable, everything seems shit, lazy, and all your thoughts are negative for long periods of time.

I can't make you do anything though. I had to find out for myself. When I took a tiny fucking microdose of MDMA it made me realize that other people are like that on a NORMAL day. I'm talking like 5mg and it made my serotonin go up. That's what made me recognize that brain chemistry is real.

I've been taking Prozac and I can tell you things are changing in a very real way. I recommend taking MDMA first though LOL

I can't prove it to you though. Ultimately everyone decides how they take care of themselves ... medication is a tool. People who call you "weak" for being depressed are fucking mongoloid fucking cunts who you should NEVER listen to... its up to YOU what you do to help yourself. thats all.
