Stop fucking spamming this.
It's a great album, I know.
>>

To be honest the last thread we had on this yesterday we got a looot of good post-hardcore recommendations. Something good came from this spam, after all.

I don't see anything wrong with that

This album is inferior to Relationship of Command.

damn right we did, more noiserock and indierock than post-hardcore, but yeah
>>

You're right, we should just start using this as a post-hardcore general type thing.

I got some recs for y'all
Rye Coalition - Hee Saw Dhuh Kaet - this is like Nation of Ulysses if I liked them more. This band started making more bland rock on their following albums, it's a fucking shame. Gern Blandsten is a good label worth checking out too.

Native Nod - First Puberty, Then the Way - the three EPs compiled on here are pretty much definitive to emo/post-hardcore. And they were fucking kids when they wrote these songs. It shows, but not in a way that detracts from it at all.

Unwound - New Plastic Ideas - I've never understood the love for Fake Train over this album. It's better in every possible way imaginable in my opinion, tight songwriting, an incredible rhythm section, better lyrics and vocals, and a great sound complements of Steve Fisk. On this album and Leaves Turn Inside You, though his playing is much removed from his playing on here, Trospers guitar parts really shine. The whole band shines on this record and it's ear candy to me. The guitars shimmer and then explode, the whole album contracts and expands. There is practically no time wasted despite the longer song times.

I really agree on new plastic ideas. The songwriting is just so much better than fake train and repetition

agreed
