>"Removal" is a short EP of disposable compositions created using loops meant to be played as an addition to the background noise rather than a foreground experience. The loops are stylized in order to provide an elegant vignette and a proper soundscape to the overall ambiance. An addition rather than a whole. Experience intensifies at the evenings.

>>72220989
Hey man, thanks, I'm already familiar with your work, I dig it a lot!
The title of the EP can come across as little edgy, I do agree on that, but the title is an homage to Whitehouse because their music helped me out through a pretty stressful period in my life. That means a lot to me, so that's the reason for the title, but I totally understand why someone would say it sounds edgy.

This EP is a concept of sorts in the sense that I have added short stories to each of them to tie them all together-- they're cringey; but I mostly tried producing a story of sorts with each individual song through the melodies and soundscapes. No they do not fit history, this isn't meant to fit history, this is my own creation.
You can buy my stuff Bandcamp, the whole album is $3, individual tracks are ¢50.

this is really good. I actually don't even think it sounds like GYBE that much. more guitar oriented, like Mogwai or Earth. pretty dynamic, not too simple or repetitive.

REALLY enjoy the 3rd song. The drums can come off as a little cheesy though. And the flute/recorder always catches me by surprise.
I don't believe it's your first time though...
>>72231665
Thanks very much for listening! Yes, it's definitely my first time. lol
I very much agree with the drums. Percussion is absolutely my weak point. Any tips? Percussion in general is pretty foreign to me. I have found "realistic" VSTs to sound fake and lifeless (at least the way I use them), so the drums in these tracks were programmed with my little Korg Volcabeats thing. But obviously I don't really know what I'm doing, and worse, I don't really know how to improve.
>>72232022
I was working with electronic drums for some time and that turned into electronic drums with life drums and now I just use live drums.
Basically I just gave up because I couldn't get them to sound as versatile as I wanted. So if you can figure that out you've one up'd me.
>>72229784
>>72231019
Thanks for listening, again I'm not even on the single but I will be on the full length here and there. The single is great but the full length will be next level trust me
>>72232169
lol, well crap! Yeah, eventually I want to play ALL real instruments on my recordings, including drums. I LOVE a roomy home-recorded drum kit sound. But I need to get a drum kit first, and then learn to play them. So that'll probably never happen. :/

I know i'm not the best singer or producer,

>>72229784

Ah yes. Disregard the above. My intention with the drums was to evoke the feeling of repulsion from the listener.
