Hey man, thanks, I'm already familiar with your work, I dig it a lot!
The title of the EP can come across as little edgy, I do agree on that, but the title is an homage to Whitehouse because their music helped me out through a pretty stressful period in my life. That means a lot to me, so that's the reason for the title, but I totally understand why someone would say it sounds edgy.

This EP is a concept of sorts in the sense that I have added short stories to each of them to tie them all together-- they're cringey; but I mostly tried producing a story of sorts with each individual song through the melodies and soundscapes. No they do not fit history, this isn't meant to fit history, this is my own creation.

this is really good. I actually don't even think it sounds like GYBE that much. more guitar oriented, like Mogwai or Earth. pretty dynamic, not too simple or repetitive.

Yeah you're probably right, but they've definitely been my 'City Upon a Hill'

I just listened to Swamp Despair, the drums could've stood to be raised a little higher, but there was a lot of unease/tension (I'm assuming was intentional) which was really cool.

The Second track was really cool but could use some distortion (IMO)

I very much agree with the drums. Percussion is absolutely my weak point. Any tips? Percussion in general is pretty foreign to me. I have found "realistic" VSTs to sound fake and lifeless (at least the way I use them), so the drums in these tracks were programmed with my little Korg Volcabeats thing. But obviously I don't really know what I'm doing, and worse, I don't really know how to improve.

I was working with electronic drums for some time and that turned into electronic drums with life drums and now I just use live drums.

Basically I just gave up because I couldn't get them to sound as versatile as I wanted. So if you can figure that out you've one up'd me.

The titles and your imagery is unnecessarily edgy.
On the other hand this is top tier industrial, with danceable rhythms. Not to mention the great production, I like how you utilise feedback. Keep up my man, you're already better than Death Grips in making instrumentals like this.
