Kill yourself
It used to be around 150 GB but I accidentally that hdd. Now it's just like 3 GB I had on a flash drive and use Spotify.

Is a 1TB external HD worth it or a 500-750 fine?
>>72216771
1 terabyte there's nothing worse than not having enough breathing room
who here /100gigmasterrace/
>>72216643
streaming services have limited selection and the software is slow and locked down compared to foobar/musicbee
>>72216713
Spotify Premium
>205 GB
>1225 Albums
>>72216657
I posted that, I already do. I've been building my library for about 15 years. I'd kill myself if I lost it all.
>203.6 GB

ur genre tags are a mess
r8 mine
>>72216843
you're supposed to have it like genre>artist>songs so you can filter genre and see which artists there are under that genre, not the other way around dummy
>>72216879
get an ext and back it up every month
Hows mine?

i started over last year, because i had downloaded a lot of stuff i hadn't even heard and i figured that if it's gonna be my library, i should be able to open it up and play a random record and at least recognize it

All MP3s?
>>72216771
500 - 700 should be fine depending on how much you download. If you think you wont ~800 gigs in 2 years then there's no need for a terabyte since the price will cut in a few years because of Moores law
>>72216832
"paying" for music
>>72217234
This scares the shit out of me. Could you take it into a computer repair place and see if they can extract whatever was on it? I don't see a problem with something like that as long as youre not a pedo freak with illegal shit.
>>72216527
All I have now after deleting 150Gb of metal music
>>72217338

>>72217338

>deleting music that you're not into anymore
I made that mistake when I was about 19. I went through and deleted a bunch of dadrock and metal that I loved in high school but seriously turned against in college. I had to go back and re-download most of that stuff because I went on a nostalgia trip a few years ago. I'll never make that mistake again.

Recently got Sony PS-HX500, and found old LP's. DSD 5.6MHz 1bit is about 4Gb per album. Rest is from CD and torrents.

>>72218014
then how are you ever gonna listen to all the albums that you won't find anywhere but soulseek?
you will never get flacs of starsailor by tim buckley unless you have $150
just use soulseek
108gb taken up on a 1tb hard drive so far. Except that it contains porn, not music
>>72218233
That's a valid argument, but I only purchease albums that I regard as classics.
