Me too! The last track, veterans day poppy is a difficult-to-choose favorite of mine. I'm convinced the breakdown halfway through it, along with the ending is the first appearance of true math rock. Where would we be today without beefheart's influence? I don't know but I can say for a fact that my various listenings of tmr have been profoundly influential in both my growth developing a critical ear for music as well as my personal exploration in creating it. Don Van Vliet is my favorite musician and I don't see that changing any day soon.

I don't think the individual guitar riffs are that hard to play, the real challenge would be in the frrr jazz bits like on hair pie
