Why arent there any famous rock bands today? In the same height as led zeppelin, rolling stones, the doors, the beatles?
What happened?
Also tame impala isnt even close.
I mean on the mainstream as well..
Same reason there weren't any big Swing bands in 1977

rock music isn't cool anymore because niggers won the culture war and now everyone is an identity issue having wigger
Radiohead are more popular than every band you listed.

Niggers invented rock music

not more popular than those bands in their prime
>>72171174
radiohead is definitely more popular than any of those bands except maybe the beatles
there were 2billion people in 1965 compared to over 12billion today, and the percentage of people living in extreme poverty has gone from 75% to 25%. thats why radiohead can sell out O2 with $500 tickets and the beatles, even though they played for the queen, had to charge like 3 bucks for their garage rock

Go back to /pol/. Not everything is racial ya goon.
Rock got "replaced" by EDM, like The Chainsmokers or modern Maroon 5. The songwriting formulas in EDM can be traced back to rock.
It's just trends changing. You had '60s and '70s rock that was more directly influenced by blues. That evolved into metal, which was then reduced to its essence with grunge. Pop - which evolved more from the big band sound - has borrowed rock elements on and off throughout all those periods.
EDM in many cases is basically electronic pop that uses rock songwriting formulas.
You never know what'll take off next. Indie rock is still alive and well with teens, with its sort of lo-fi atmospheric take on '90s rock tropes. It could be the breeding ground for the next big sound.

GOTTA KEEP THE TRENDS UP!
