Humble has parts in the track that skips like a broken record

As an album Damn is really only okay, I don't get that same sense of cohesion as on GKMC and TPAB, but honestly most of the tracks on here are really good in their own right, only really disliked Love and God and even then I didn't dislike them much. Overall just solid production, solid flows and delivery, and overall good variety between the tracks. I'm confused as to how many people are saying only a few tracks stood out to them, the songs didn't really hook me in at first listen but the more I listen to it the more I appreciate the details. I feel like this album might turn out to be a grower for a lot of you guys.

After re-listening to GKMC, and TPAB, DAMN. seems very underwhelming both conceptually and in terms of content. I think it's possible he'll drop another album on sunday that'll give DAMN. more context and develop it. It is not a bad album, but weak in comparison to Kendrick Lamar's discography.

It's not very cohesive or structured. The spoken word on Blood is clever, and I like how it wraps around on Duckworth. There are some tracks where I have no idea what Kendrick was thinking about, like "GOD.", God that song was bad. "LOVE." gets a pass because it was well produced and well sung.
