I love Orange and Lemons. The writing of their lyrics are kind of sappy, sweet, and immature but some of their songs feature a mature and sultry theme. Their songs are in Tagalog though so unless you speak it you won't understand anything. They've got songs in English, too.

there's a lot of shit bands and a lot of good bands but for a while it was a thing for native Florida kids with talents to get the fuck out of the sunshine state (everyone goes to NYC or something) but with the cheap prices in St. Pete, Gainesville, Tallah, Tampa (seminole Heights area), Miami there's definetely been a resurgence of interesting/cool culture in this state. Downtown St. Petersburg is hip (which I still find shocking), and Gainesville hosts this giant punk Fest (called Fest) that's p decent
