Their second best album, behind The Soft Bulletin. If The Flips just released an official version of it with all the tracks synced, it'd be a lot more well-known and better-received by the public.

I recently purchased the CD's in hopes of getting some friends/cd players to enjoy it.

I find myself either fucking with the tracks in audacity or just watching this video instead. Damn shame.

Placing essentially 4 different finished "songs" on top of each other is not the same as actually having them mixed in the mixing process.

some friends and I actually got 4 CD players to listen to it once in high school. Apparently you're supposed to pause each player and rewind to 00:00 for every track, but we just did that at the beginning and let it play through. It's a fun experience, I mean we were just high schoolers who liked to spend all our free time smoking weed and listening to animal collective. We really liked trying to pick out cool noises are interesting stuff happening in music and laugh at it or just try to figure out how it was made. Fun experience, but this record doesn't nearly come close to the beautiful song writing / production of Soft Bulletin. It's a cool experiment though,worth doing but don't expect anything too mind blowing
