I don't know man. I honestly couldn't have handled it if he released another Salad Days or 2. Another One was a nod in a new direction and I think This Old Dog fulfills that. I really like the concept of this record and the dreamy yet forlorn mood and instrumentals. Also, it's very cohesive imo. I would give it a 8.5 BNM.
