Where to start with Beatles solo albums?

just listen to the ones with high ratings on rym

just listen to their solo discogs chronologically until the albums get mediocre enough that you want to stop
each of their best solo albums was one of their first few

Listen to Ram, All Things Must Pass, Plastic Ono Band, and nothing else.

Maybe ironically listen to Cloud Nine and all of Ringos albums.

Pretty much. Why would she? She made some pretty kick-ass experimental stuff, and she has far more conceptual vision than any Beatles solo project (with the possible exception of Lennon's Plastic Ono Band.)

For John: Plastic Ono Band (John Lennon), Imagine, Mind Games
For Paul: Ram, Red rose speedway, Band on the run, McCartney II
For Ringo: Ringo

Go from there, expand if you hear stuff you like. Mostly earlier is better, but not always.

Harrison's last album, Brainwashed, is my favourite, even though he sounds like dying.
